The good button is a button that has no effects.
The love button might make the project front-paged.
The Favorite button displays the project on your profile.
But the good button does nothing special, and it gives the creator the message “(username) thinks your project (project) is good!”.
It acts as a (this project is good!).
Useful if the creator doesn't want to be front paged and you don't want it on your profile.

This seems unnecessary to me, the only feature it does is to send a message to the creator that the project was good when the person could instead either leave a comment expressing the project was good or love/favourite the project, as that sends a notification to the creator, infering that the person enjoyed the project.

I am a perfect example- I'm extremely glad that the closest to front page that my projects have gotten was one in the SDS, I would NOT have the mental energy to deal with ‘hey look at this unrelated project because I’m so special that I don't have to care that this person doesn't like ads' all over my projects and profile.

especially since this wouldn't impact anything except the creator's inbox, theres no repercussion to spamming it to annoy someone (unlike stuff like the like button, which would also put the project onto the front page and have it in your “whats this user doing” page)

Anything is better than studio activity, especially something like this. Maybe the “good” button could be an option, so people can decide whether they want loves or goods on their project to prevent message spam from all the people pressing both buttons?

Hmm, since this is preeeetty similar to the like button, what if it was toggled to replace the like button? that way, when this is toggled, the project wont gain fame, but you still know people liekd it, while when it isn't, you do gain fame. And I would think that an effective way to stop spam might be to have a “daily reminder” rather then a “everytime someone presses it”

Although without that second part, the concerns of spammers still stand (ig comment spams also exist, but you can report those, unlike a button)
