What if ST just added a censor, just like in comments? On the Mineplex servers (A server network on Minecraft) you can type many bypasses and it just says “****”, so this will probably be possible in whatever scratch is made with. As about the “You are not pretty” or just using normal words, maybe younger users (That are more easily upset) could be unable to access cloud data with letters.

If you wanna know my honest opinion: They make cloud data limitless; (But add a censor just in case). If someone gets bullied and don't like it, either they have bad parents that don't monitor them on the computer, or if they aren't young they aren't mature enough to realise they shouldn't take comments online seriously. Really. These people ruin the internet for everyone, not just scratch, and take away our freedoms. I hope the ST are reading.

I know many young children that don't get easily upset, please be nice. Making a censor was suggested before but it would be too hard AND when it censored something someone could guess what it said, so no, just report.

That comment doesn't help

I see what you did there - The capitalized letters spell out an insulting remark - that would be very difficult for an automated filter to catch

I could do that: Detect the capital letters, and scan them without the lowercases.

Edit: So if I said YOUtube AREa SoTUPI
it would see: YOUARESTUPID

Does cloud data really have a problem with that kind of thing? It can only use numbers.

There are hundreds of ways to get around a filter.

But most won't understand these ones. Plus, I could build I filter for those.

It's all fine and dandy making a filter that can get everything, but that causes false-positives.

Exactly. Why not have a report thing instead? Underneath a project using cloud data is a button called “Cloud data”. When you click on it, it shows the last few changes to any cloud variables, including who changed it and when. There could be a report button next to every thing - so if Randomuser123 added “You're weird and I hate you” to a cloud variable, you could click the report button and have them reported.

Works okay…
I see what you're getting at but then again there is always the report button…
