but what if you keep getting other notifications like studios or people loving your project or that one forum topic you followed one year ago that just got active all of a sudden? You can't hide your message count without browser extensions. Just because of a workaround doesn't mean you don't gotta support it.

would this include forums and messages from studios

No support, just say you are closing the comments in your comments section because you don't want to be disturbed, then close it.

You guys realize it is more than just disabling comments, and just because there is a workaround doesn't mean you shouldn't support it (unless it's like the forever if <>). Also, what about project comments you have a lot of projects, and you will spend most of your time closing every project's comments and then have to activate them again.

Or why don't you just ignore your messages?

I have ADHD and i literally cannot ignore the message counter so this would be very useful
also if you turn off your comments people might comment/spam on your projects and stuff instead

Could you guys please stop saying “No support reasons above/same reasons”, “^”, or just quoting someone else's reason, that would be just a unnecessary spam, and this isn't a ballot box. And closing comments won't do anything with projects notifications and forums messages, what if you want to check messages before disabling comments? - Then, you'll have to scroll for an hours to see your older messges, especially if you have a big amount of followers, or don't want to see the message counter anyways.

❥ It's quite easy to ignore the message counter considering it doesn't ding each time

I meant to go somewhere else than scratch.mit.edu, I didn't mean to delete our account or to stop using it permanently.
