Semi-support since Ocular statuses already exist to solve this and “Feeling” is a bit too specific since you may want to put an update on something.

No support, use your About Me.
If it's out of characters, make a project to replace your About Me, and have your actual About Me link to the project.

Although I see some potential to this, I doubt if it's really cotributing to a kids coding community. We have to remember that most users (including me) are underage. It would potentially make spreading negative thoughts more efficient, and that can mentally affect some users.

(#10)It probably doesn't and it's sort of farfetched, but maybe their state could be affected when many Scratchers they see are depressed, according to their “Feeling” section.

If it’s similar to a status, like ocular, that would be cool. Is it similar to that?

How does people saying their sad mentally affect othes? (…)
“Spreading negative thoughts” is not necessarily directly connected to showing that one's being sad. If it's not a dropdown, but instead, a text field, users could, as described by many projects and scratchers, maliciously pull attention to themself by pretending to “leave scratch”, to have mental illnesses (while in no means scientifically/medically proven by a doctor) and many other things. This could potentially pull young, inexperienced users to the thought that the majority of the online society is depressed, the community is leaving Scratch behind, etc.

It'd be better to have some text that describes the option, as the new scratchers would get a bit confused… I created a mock-up showing it as a dropdown:
-snip
