Terms Of Service

The old directory had a terms of service section, so I decided to make one for this directory since when I originally made it, I was a bit rushed and lazy. It's also because I want people who view this directory to know about proper etiquette on the forums and what we expect out of people who post here. So here's the rules.

Currently being refined. Expect major changes in the next few weeks

1. This directory is a place for people to put their collaborations on as a sort of “Bulletin Board”. It's NOT a place to: Spam, Troll, Leave off-topic posts, start conversations, blatantly advertise, or start collaborations.

2. You are required to use the form to submit a collaboration. It's important that you use the form to sign up your collaboration: otherwise it can be viewed as blatant advertising. If you don't use the form, your collaboration will get rejected- This can also happen if you forget the codeword somewhere on the OP (Note: it changes fairly often, and it likely will not be the same as previous applications have it written down.)

3. Follow the Scratch Community Guidelines. The scratch community guidelines apply everywhere on the scratch website, including here on our directory. All community guidelines violations will be reported at the Founder/Staff's discretion.

4. We expect Staff to be respectful. If you're on my staff team, I'm expecting you to be respectful and not lash out at people. This is not a position for you to yell at children.

We can keep lists in private for ourselves- maybe in unshared scratch project descriptions or something like that.

They didn't have ban lists on the old directory, yet we still banned people, and thinking about it now, it makes sense to not have a public list because we're a stickied topic and nameshaming is against the community guidelines.
