Considering how inaccurate Google Translate is, I think Scratch should use DeepL for the languages it's capable of translating in. For the ones it's not, try to use another translating platform.

i think but im not completely sure that it used amazon's translator a long time ago but since you have to pay for it on the website they switched it to google translate which is free

DeepL is free too, but it's limited to 5,000 characters at a time. (Google Translate, I think, is limited to less)
