The title is pretty self-explained, but here we go:

Once on my project SS4.0, while it was front-paged, it actually got a.very inappropriate remix. (it has been taken down). It had words such as (ugh i feel bad typing them-.im gonna censor them) “h3ll”, “d3mons”, and “k!ll”, among other things, all over it, covering the actual project.

This, was/is clearly becuase there is no filter in project costumes…

I think that this feature should be added

Hmmm… Yes, this is reasonable. I get if those words actually had a point (such as in a game or whatnot), but, if it's just written all over the project for no reason, then, yeah. That's a problem.

Well I mean techinically you could have demons as in game characters (no matter as enemies or whatever)

the last one definitly should be censored tho

I've heard some people get offended by the word hell, although the normal scratch filter doesn't normally censor it

wot does TW mean

So do you think there could be a filter?

There could most definitely be a filter for it. However, a lot of people would probably get upset at having those words blocked.

Yes, cussing, definitely. Hmmm… What if, for the filter, it would mute people who say, like really bad stuff, but replace the other stuff with an emoji or something and let it through? I dunno.

This would only apply to the text box, right? With this implemented, nothing can stop you from just drawing inappropriate letters.

Hmmm… That seems reasonable. It's just annoying when you get muted for seemingly no reason, and you can't figure it out.

How about instead it will say “Sorry, words that break the guidelines have been detected in Costume1 in Sprite1. Please remove them to share this project. ”

XD I think I started talking about comments without specifying. Off topic, I'll try to get back on.

a scratch team member who I can't remember once wrote:

people complain enough about the comment filter, imagine the complaints with the project filter
besides, can't you report it? none of the words you stated are actually inappropriate according to scratch anyway.
the only way I see this working is if there is an extremely basic filter which only filters things in a special blacklist. that way you can't post inappropriate text, but because it's a basic filter it doesn't check for workarounds, so it won't remove text which isn't inappropriate. if there is a workaround used just report it.
