Admins for studios

So, in the most recent (major) studio update, the Scratch Team removed Managers' privilege to edit thumbnail/desc/title on studios.
Here is a basic concept I made with HTML:

So, as said in the image, you can't change it back until 24 hours, and I also imagine it giving an extra warning if you click it accidentally.
I also think that there can only be one admin in the entire studio, to prevent manager chatting, just like mentioned in the studio update forum. I also made this role indicator in html (took me like 2 hours but ok):

I want this to be added as it might be difficult for one person to manage the shop and update it for like 3 hours straight, so the other admin might help in actually managing the studio when they are gone. When I am in my test account I don't really want to have to keep logging back in to my main just to edit a bit of the description, and I'm sure this might be the case for a lot of you and might be useful. Anyone else agree with me?

Also, there is a 10-minute cooldown to changing the studio thumbnail. It should look a bit like this:

Edit: from these comments, I think it would also be a good idea to be able to report admins instead of just removing them:

True, but as I said earlier, you could just invite your alt or someone you really trust? Also, on almost every famous studio I knew, there was manager chatting.
How does inviting someone you really trust mitigate that potential for manager chats?
By assuring that they won't break the rules and start to manager chat, or put inappropriate things in the description since you know them and you know they are trustworthy. It could even be your alt.
How will the assurance be achieved and proven?
It's up to the person themselves.
Yikes! That means there's still the possibility the trust could be broken at any one point and we'd be back with the problem we had originally before studio changes were made.

But, they can get shut down by the host immediately. Plus, you wouldn't invite someone that has that trouble-maker record. And, managers can still remove curators and projects, so adding a role with higher authority wouldn't really impact that side of things. Also if they do something wrong they could just get removed and reported. That also just gave me a new Idea.

So, I made this new mockup:

Isn't it still possible to engage in manager chatting with only 2 people?

Technically yes, but can't you add a filter just like the one in the comments to prevent inappropriate chatting?
Edit: Also, that person can be someone you really, really, trust, someone that's never been banned or muted a lot of times. Or it can just be your alt account.

Because people don't change and mature after getting unbanned (sarcasm)
Also only Admin is barely better than what we have now

Yeah but it's better than 10000 managers ruining your studio, its better than not getting anything.

Nope, just the studio host. That's why I want this to be added into scratch. It's been like this since like last year… Sometimes I miss the old layout…. Sometimes I don't. The old managers had more permissions back then. I remember helping people translate their description to spanish for example, so it doesn't look to google-translatey, but since that update, you can't do that anymore. You have to own that studio.

Isn't this kind of a solution for only one type of scenario, when scratch really needs something like this to cover them all https://scratch-mit-edu.ezproxyberklee.flo.org/discuss/topic/349715/

There's only one admin. 5 would be way too many, and would definitely result in chats in the studio desc

musicROCKS013 is right. 5 admins would be way too many, and the reason I specifically said one was to prevent manager chatting.

I support. Basically only the owner is in control of the studio (right?) and not the managers so they don't change anything.

Support anyways. Also, then, you could set your alt as an admin, so that you don't have to go on your main, or you can tell the admin to do that.

musicROCKS013 is right. 5 admins would be way too many, and the reason I specifically said one was to prevent manager chatting.
although, there could be a problem with only 1 admin.
let’s say there was a roleplay, and both the admin and owner of the studio are inactive, which can result into some chaos due to if someone joined the roleplay, their character wouldn’t be added into the studio desc, which can cause confusion.

perhaps 3 admins may be enough?
otherwise, this suggestion seems great, as one person (the studio host) may not be able to function a large studio (example).

more than 1 admin would definitely result in private chatting

ah, right.
basically having more then 1 admin has pros and cons, but as well as the same with only 1.
although, as with what Za-Chary said. both the studio owner and the admin can still private chat.

also, some people may use this feature (if it extended to at least 3 admins) likely other than private chatting, like moderating a studio. (like I said in my earlier post)

Yeah, preventing manager chatting is the exact reason why I'm only saying one.
Edit: You could also just put your alt as an admin, so you don't have to keep logging back on your main account.

You are right, that update basically made managers useless.

You're exactly right. As I said earlier, managers can't edit descriptions, titles, or thumbnails, but there are some types of studios, such as shops, that will be (already are) harder to manage as only one person can actually edit those things and they might not always be active. But, to prevent manager chatting, one admin is enough. Better than nothing, right?

Just a thought:

You could switch the admin from user to user and chat like that. This is already possible with changing the host, but I think there should be something this suggestion does to counteract it.

I think that this wouldn't really be a problem because this is currently a problem, and it doesn't seem to be breaking the site or anything.
