Welcome to Scratch ShopBux! We are a currency and benefits program available for YOUR shop in a few simple clicks. Our team is an amazing group of lads, some of which are from the 2019 era of the Scratch Requests forums, and we will get you started in becoming an advanced shop.

June 27th, 2022: After a two-year hiatus, MClovers and NYCDOT rise from the dead and form the second incarnation of Scratch ShopBux, feeling a need to unite shops together once more.

POSITIONS
President: Full power over the organization; oversees big-picture programs and provides general guidance over the rest of the organization.
Vice President: Oversees all day-to-day activities and assists the President execute all programs.
Public Advocate: Elected by the shops collectively; provides SSB staff as to what the shops want to see happen as well as act as oversight over SSB actions.
Secretary: Appointed by higher leadership; assists higher leadership oversee General Staff and keeping shops content with SSB policies.
Assistant Secretary: Appointed by the Secretary and approved by the President; assists the Secretary in all their duties.
General Staff: Assists shops with becoming SSB members and making sure they are kept aware with all SSB policies and changes.

SALARIES
President: 20 SSB/week
Vice President: 20 SSB/week
Public Advocate: 18 SSB/week
Secretary: 10 SSB/week
Assistant Secretary: 8 SSB/week
General Staff: 6 SSB/week

TITLE 1 — DISTRIBUTION OF SHOPBUX
Section 1.1: The ShopBux Central Bank shall have a base amount of 10,000 ShopBux (SSB).
Section 1.2: Upon SSB activation, all shops shall receive a base amount of 100 SSB; all individuals shall receive 10 SSB. A shop shall directly receive 3 SSB/order and a shop’s employee shall directly receive 1 SSB/order they complete, as reported by the shop’s designated representative.
Section 1.3: To prevent fraud and abuse, any shops found guilty of creating con artist schemes shall be penalized up to 75% of their total SSB balance. Any individuals found guilty of creating con artist schemes shall be penalized up to 100% of their total SSB balance.
Section 1.4: An income tax equal to 5 SSB/week shall be imposed on any shops exceeding 300 SSB in valuation, and 4 SSB/week shall be imposed on any individuals exceeding 200 SSB in valuation.

TITLE 2 — STAFF OVERSIGHT
Section 2.1: Higher leadership consists of the President, Vice President, and the Public Advocate. The first President is @MClovers, and any future Presidents shall be chosen by leaving President and Vice President. The first Vice President is @NYCDOT, and any future Vice Presidents shall be chosen by the leaving President and Vice President. In the event of the President’s absence, the Vice President temporarily takes over the powers and duties of the President.
Section 2.2. The Public Advocate shall be elected by means of Ranked-Choice Voting among shops’ representatives, as stipulated by Section 3.2. The Public Advocate shall take office on the first day of every odd month (with specific information related to elections being determined by the President and Vice President), and shall confer with all member shops as to what actions and policies they want to see from ShopBux. The Public Advocate cannot hire nor fire any staff.
Section 2.3: The Secretary has the authority to hire and fire General Staff (subject to change from higher leadership) to maintain excellence within the ShopBux organization. They maintain office for life, unless they voluntarily leave or are removed as stipulated by Section 3.4.
Section 2.4: The Assistant Secretary shall be chosen by the Secretary and publicly confirmed by higher leadership. They shall assist the Secretary in whatever they need assistance with.
Section 2.5: General Staff shall have the authority to activate or deny shops’s acceptance into ShopBux, as well as maintaining general civility in the forum. They can be hired or fired by any staff above them, except by the Assistant Secretary.
Section 2.6: Every time a staff member violates any of these laws, they shall accrue one strike. Three strikes results in a pay cut; if a staff member accrues more than three strikes in a month, they shall be fired indefinitely. All strikes erase on the first day of every odd month.

TITLE 3 — JOINING AND LEAVING
Section 3.1: All new shops must have been active on Scratch for at least one week. All new individuals must have been on Scratch for one month or longer; if a new individual claims they have another account that’s been on Scratch for at least one month, they must provide proof that the account is theirs.
Section 3.2: When a shop joins, they must announce one representative on their behalf in Public Advocate elections and any other actions needed from ShopBux. They must be a staff member of the shop they represent; if they aren’t, the shop must replace them.
Section 3.3: If a shop or individual chooses to deactivate their ShopBux balance, they must announce it in the ShopBux main forum for it to take effect. Upon deactivation, all their income shall go directly into the ShopBux Central Bank.
Section 3.4: In extraordinary circumstances, it may be necessary to remove a person from higher leadership. This process can be triggered by any shop representative, with any given reason. The leader at stake must provide a reason why they should remain in power, and after a 24 hour vote held by another leader, the results shall be tallied. If those in favor of removal exceed 50%, the leader shall be removed immediately.
Section 3.5: if the President is removed, the Vice President shall act as Interim President until the Vice President and Public Advocate choose a new President. If the Vice President is removed, there shall be no Vice President until the President and Public Advocate choose a new Vice President. If the Public Advocate is removed, there shall be no Public Advocate until the next Public Advocate election.
Section 3.6: If a person is fired or otherwise involuntarily removed from their position, they can appeal after a one week grace period. Their appeal will be reviewed by a person from higher leadership who was not directly involved in their removal.

TITLE 4 — OTHER INFORMATION
Section 4.1: ShopBux will not accept any business or applications on New Years’ Day, March 15th, April 15th, or September 11th.
Section 4.2: All applications must include the term “biology.”
Section 4.3: These laws shall be subject to change at any time but with warning; however they do not apply retroactively.

I don’t know much about it but here is what I think
I’m pretty sure it’s allowed, but this is a little like a federation, which can help “popularize” stores. If this gets more and more popular, stores offer premium services for people with this currency. People will want to use this currency to get the premium service/product.

Why should we hire you?: because I was the secretary like 3 years ago (I think I might have even been the vice president at the end) and I'm cool. I'm also somehow still ranked 20th in the request forum even though I've posted here like 3 times in the past two years.

Other: I could also potentially make a cloud system with my fake (and very helpful) biology degree.

Thank you for the explanations! I'm not going to sign up my shop since we aren't able to offer “special” services to the ShopBux members and it goes against why I created my shop. I also don't want my workers completing orders faster since it would seem like rushing and you don't want to rush art. Even though I'm not going to sign up my shop, I will become a member. This kind of stuff doesn't go well with my shop but it can be the missing puzzle piece for other shops.
