Hello. Many of you have thought of better forums, but I want the forums to be better than ever to use for New scratchers. Here are my ideas listed descending from the top priorities to the lowest priorities:

Live Chat This is the main reason for the thread. Live chat will enable you to be able to connect with a Scratcher that is experienced and will help you with anything you'd need. Since this is in-editor, people can drag and drop blocks in and out of the chat box, making it easier than ever to post scripts for others to use.
Live Chat Forums This read-only forum should be for chats started so you wouldn't have to start a chat just to find something already covered. This will work with the live chat to solve duplicate chats and be able to see existing chats.

If you support, insert the image hosted at (none yet) into your signature. Be sure that you link to this thread!

Also, try to get 500 supporters so it makes the Scratch Team have to view the thread.

I will be adding more forums ideas in this single thread whilst time goes on.

This isn't a chat room project hosted on the Scratch website. It's like a mini-forums, but inside of the Scratch project editor. Since my idea isn't an actual project, resulting in it having the ability to be censored like the forums and comments are right now.

What's the difference?

What's the reason for no chat rooms? NOT BEING ABLE TO CENSOR THEM.
Why do we still have forum posts and comments, then? UNLIKE CHAT ROOM PROJECTS, WE CAN CENSOR THEM.
This would work somehow like comments. Get the point?

Who is censoring it? A BOT IS. BOTS ARE TOOLS THAT ARE AUTOMATICALLY RUN TO PREVENT OR FILTER SOMETHING.

Here's what a example post in the forum section for my idea would look like:

The caps/bold makes it look like you're screaming. Calm down.

Currently, it is impossible for any bot to be a perfect censor. That's something only a human can do. Mods (aka humans) are the people that censor most comments, not bots. The bots take out the bluntly inappropriate comments, but they miss a lot. The ones that they miss, moderators and admins have to get themselves (with the help of other Scratchers using the report button). Adding chat rooms would make this System be a lot harder and with the current amount of mods, it would just be too much.

Once I get full Scratcher status I'll add Reporting (and perhaps a real mockup) of the Live Chat. Also, I'll stop screaming. Finally, who cares? There is still lots of Scratchers that can report.

Chats are also discouraged because it's hard to get a full log of a chatroom. In the forums, people can see posts from days ago and report those. However, in chats, space is limited, so the message would get moved out of sight too quickly to be reported.
And it's a lot easier to spam.

No bot is perfect.

Well as I said in my other post the receiver (the person who helps) would be a full Scratcher that is experienced and not a spammer. And I also said that they can report as the chat is going on.

AFAIK, swearing isn't blocked in the forums.
