Chickenpelt eagerly watched the mouse. It was curiously sniffing it's environment and clearly did not know of Chickenpelt's presence. The mouse scurried to the nearest twig, and Chickenpelt edged closer. In a pounce, he was successful. The mouse hung limp from his jaws.

I caught a wild mouse from my aviary a few days back, but it escaped the cage I put it in.
Though, with research, I discovered that the cage was fairly tatty XD
So, I made a bin/storage container cage for the mouse, and the bin/storage container is HUGE.
I made a DIY wheel (10-11 inches tall and wide) and also made tunnels, cardboard chew toys, more chew toys, a hide, nesting materials, and more.
I also made a humane mouse trap to catch the mouse again.
Even though last time I used my bare hands
(I used my bare hands last time because it went in the aviary, and it used to every hour. Though, ever since I caught it, it hasn't come back to the avairy. It probably will come back, but in case, I have got that mouse trap)
My dog: Where's the mouse?!
My mum: Oh god, please escape mouse, please.
Me: It escaped! (Balls my eyes out even though it's always in the garden and pretty easy to catch XD)

And I think my obsession of listening to 1 hour versions of silkie roosters crowing at volume 100 is getting out of hand-

And, I do like catching mice bare handed. My dog also loves the word ‘rat’. Ever since he chased a rat out of our house, he will instantly start hunting as soon as the word is spoken.
