"If you think your question is answered, please close the topic."
This is spammy and it is not helping anyone. Across multiple posts, users are spamming this same thing, no changes. I am suggesting to forbid saying this, especially when saying it across multiple posts with no changes. If you think your question is answered, plz close the topic, thanks

Oh absolutely! This is spammy and annoying. Why not just report it to be closed and go on with your day? Theres no need to type a spammy message across all posts.

The Scratch Team is not going to forbid someone from saying a sentence, that isn't disrespectful. Though I do wish people wouldn't say that.

This is not ok. Spam isn't allowed and why would you spam a message only to say this, you think people could not think of this without reading this.

First, remove the username. It's not nice to say people's names. Second, this is the reason I'm quitting the forums. The sentence isn't disrespectful or spammy, and you do not know if the user actually wants to close their topic. By saying this, people may realise they are able to close a topic.

I actually agree to this as these messages are unnecessary since you can just report the post silently instead; these post clutter the forums and also encourage other forumers to do these needless posts.

….maybe.
I would love for forum “helpers” to stop spamming “helpful” things like “Please close your topic” or “I reported this to be moved(Despite the fact the mods always get there anyways)” on every single post without actually responding to the post. Forum helpers think they're more important than they really are most of the time, with only a few actually helpful ones existing.

I think the “close the topic” message and some others should be discouraged, and other messages such as
Dupe, reporting to be closedshould be written in a less hostile manner.

Makes sense, topics that are resolved should simply be reported so a Scratch Team member can know to close it instead of replied to with “If you think your question is answered, please close the topic.” Or at least, if you're reminding someone to close the topic, make a descriptive message and explain why closing resolved topics is a good idea.

I feel like reminding them to close it is fine, so newer forumers can learn how to close a topic. The button at the button is not very obvious, so the reminders are mostly fine and can teach them that you can close topics. Even I learnt because of that.
However, the repetitive reminders by many scratchers is not okay. It can easily bring the question back up and people will probably answer it when there is no need to. So I partly agree.
