"Resolved" Button for QaS
I'm suggesting there be a button saying “Resolved” at the top of topics in Questions about Scratch. (Of course, only available to the topic owner)
Saying a post is “resolved” doesn't close the post. It leaves it open for anyone who thinks they can present a better explanation.
Maybe a warning would come up saying:

If you think you have a better explanation, then you post it by pressing “Yes”.
There would still be the choice to “Close Topic” in case the owner doesn't want more explanations.

Found hereI don't want this argument, so I'll cover it.
Isn't that what closing the topic is for?
You can close your own topics after 24 hours, or Report it and ask a moderator to close it if it hasn't been 24 hours yet.

"Resolved" Button for QaS
It's good for newer formers so they don't necropost, or so they don't give the exact same explanation as someone else already did, which I find annoying (unless they get near ninjaed, that's OK) So why not just add (resolved) to the title?

So what's the difference between this button and adding resolved to to the title? Both help prevent necroposting. It's good for newer formers so they don't necropost, or so they don't give the exact same explanation as someone else already did, which I find annoying (unless they get near ninjaed, that's OK) So why not just add (resolved) to the title?

It gives a message when they go to post. Not something they read before. in case someone may have missed the title. While both work the same way, this may work better, especially for newer scratchers who may not know exact what “resolved” means on the forums. Luck it explains before you post.So what's the difference between this button and adding resolved to to the title? I guess this may help but probably won't have a large change. May come in use for some cases. Semi-support.It gives a message when they go to post. Support.
While I don't use QaS often, if you add the function for HwS too, it would be so useful. It's so I don't get messages from old topics I forgot to close.

Support, but maybe you could have this for all forums? If it was in HwS as well, Scratchers with problems could look at resolved topics talking about their problems and find answers quicker. (Maybe there could be a separate page for resolved topics?)

I'm not sure about Support, but maybe you could have this for all forums? (Maybe there could be a separate page for resolved topics?)every topic, but HwS would be nice. That suggestion was made already though, and I didn't want to steal it.
Find the HwS resloved button topic here!

No support. Most scratchers who do ignore the (resolved) on the title will most likely ignore the warning that the topic is resolved. This isn't really needed because the majority of scratchers are going to ignore it.

It might be kind of difficult to simply ignore the existence of something that comes up in front of your screen before you can post what you typed out. No support. Most scratchers who do ignore the (resolved) on the title will most likely ignore the warning that the topic is resolved. This isn't really needed because the majority of scratchers are going to ignore it.
It's harder to ignore then putting it in the title.

Yes, that'd be nice. Maybe check out the other topic? I liked it twice. Also for HwS
But if it works better, I guess you can implant it into this suggestion.
