I suggest making a mobile app that sends you a device notification whenever you get a Scratch notification.

As a mobile user, I could see why you'd want this, but an app just for that? Please explain a bit more.

Yeah an app solely for alerting you is weird. I don't use mobile devices, so I think it would be nice to have an extension for Chrome that is just the Scratch Cat and it says the number of messages in the corner like the Gmail or any RSS Reader app. I would really like that a lot. When you click on the cat, it would bring you to your messages page.

This isn't something the ST would do though as it would be a waste of time. If I had the super smartsy skillz, I would do it myself, but I don't

An app that just notifies you wouldn't be very useful, and the normal website is usable, so no support.

Also, you could set up a filter so it only sent notifications for certain types of messages.

Ah, I would love to see an app just for the Scratch Community, not necessarily for viewing projects, but for checking and replying to comments, forum posts…
