What if we had projects that could have more than 1 Stage?
how it would look
Also, you would be able to select in the project editor what Stage of the project you're working on, in a dropdown. where it used to say “stage” on the backdrop changer. You can also import a stage from one of your other projects.

next stage :: events
previous stage :: events
swap stage to [stage 1 v] :: events

Also, you would be able to have sprites persist throughout Stage changes.

when stage changes, [keep this sprite v] :: events
when stage changes, [don't keep this sprite v] :: events
(stage # :: events)

how it would be useful
This would be useful for having different rooms in games.

no, the stage is the background, basically just a special kind of sprite. Projects are the containers.

Possible, Recently Snap! just added this feature, and it is extremely helpful. It may not fit onto main scratch though.

Then consider my suggestion to be to add this missing functionality to the Stages. To make them more like Projects inside of Projects..
