I agree with this. I dont own any major studios but this would make things way simpler. Managers shouldnt be able to do this but the host should

Huge support. I don't like having to kick managers out of the studio to make them curators again. I'm suprised the Scratch Team hasn't added this yet.

Managers are already able to delete other managers. Just demoting them to a curator isn't as affecting, so your extra suggestion is invalid.

There are alot of issues with having a demote feature:

It'd disrupt the studio and cause flame wars and would ruin the studio.
Demoting managers might mean there aren't alot of designated individuals to handle bad things in the studio.
Many managers have things like wisdom and expertise. Removing their manager position would mean they lose the wisdom and expertise.
Especially on a site like Scratch, it'd be easy for people to abuse this. It'd happen all the time.
Because of #4, moderation would be very very bad.
Also because of #4, abusive demotions would have a negative effect on the person's morale and could destroy the studio.

3. No, you don't just lose your wisdom when you lose your job, if you get fired, you don't just automatically forget about everything you did

i have 4 alts (@the_rainbow_unicorn1, @girl450, @tubbt_cradles, and my newest one that i just made today (as of 1/29/23), @DreamscapeDancer) and i promoted 3 of the 4 to manager while making meowmi studios (my graphic novel (making) studio) and they're on the minor team (managers/host = major team, curators = minor team)

support, makes studio raids harder to pull off, without it you can just remove yourself and end the chaos, but with this you can END the chaos easier

as the owner of a growing world domination studio, a demote button would be pretty helpful to me. one of my manager rules is that you can't promote curators without my approval. if a manager does this, how am I supposed to prevent it in the future without removing them and re-inviting them? plus, if a manager illegally promotes a curator, I don't want to have to remove the curator and re-invite them because they didn't do anything wrong and removal can give that impression.
