Censor the phrases 'Girls Only' and 'Boys Only'

Sorry to bring your suggestion down, they could use other words and workaround

Ex: Woman/Man Only, Feminine/Masculine Only, Male/Female Only and a bunch of others.

Not censoring and instead removing studios would take up a lot of the ST's time.

Of course, the problem is that this phrase could commonly be used in ways that don't break the community guidelines. The word “candy” could be used to break the community guidelines somehow, but that doesn't mean we should just straight up censor it. For this case, you should rely on reporting, as I think it's actually uncommon for people to use this in an unacceptable matter.

By this logic, the filter should never be updated as people can say “girl only studios are not allowed!”. The filter can censor positives with a lot of words. Again, I don't understand why this thread is getting backlash.

It's still a good start to banning these studios, and with the new filter the ST normally censor similar phrases. People who workaround the filter are purposely breaking the guidelines, and I think most people making these studios don't know it isn't allowed

Yeah. Most words in the filterbot can. Shall we remove all those words from the filterbot?

I don't get why you (and others) are so against a suggestion which makes the community safer.

It doesn't make the community safer, if anything, it makes the community more trapped in the vocabulary they can use, we would have to add in only, boys, and girls to the filter, and those words can be used for different meanings, like boys/girls only.

Also, No support, can't you just report those studios/comments who are discriminating against the opposite gender? Also, Most are not discriminatory, or at least not trying to, because they were made by children.

These phrases shouldn't be censored (because say someone was saying “The field hockey team is girls only”), but these types of studios should be banned.

As a girl who likes things that are usually seen as “for boys” I agree that “Girls only” and “Boys only” things are stupid. However, there could be boy/girl themed studios that aren't really discriminatory. For example, there are all-girls/all-boys schools. Sports/PE classes are usually separated by gender. Someone could make a studio with those sorts of themes and in that case, it wouldn't be discrimination, just going along with the theme.
Not to mention, there's nothing stopping you from still going to those studios. If the people there tell you that you can't be there because of your gender, then that's discrimination and should be reported.

This is probably the main reason why the suggestion would be a problem. As far as I'm aware, there is a way to mention these harmless things without the suggestion getting in the way.
