I just updated an old project in the new programmer interface.

Now I don't see a Share button in either the Project window or the programmer interface screen that I can click to share my updated version.

I'm assuming that it is not the “Share To” link at the bottom.

Can someone tell me where to look for the Share button?

Well now I am really confused. It appears that my updated project was automatically shared with the world as soon as I signed out even though I wasn't finished with the update. I think (but I'm not certain) that I checked the Draft box before signing out.

Obviously I don't understand the new development-sharing protocol. Can someone please point me to the documentation for that protocol?

When you edit a project, shared or not, autosave will make sure you don't lose any of your progress. It saves every 5 minutes, and also when you leave the page. Is your project already shared? If it is, then no share button exists in the editor. If it isn't, then that is something different entirely.

I guess this means that when you update or edit an existing shared project, your updates are being re-shared every five minutes as you make them.

Hmm, a checkout - edit - reshare procedure would be nice.

There are many ways to share your projects. You could share it the way dracae said, or you could open it in “My Stuff” then click “Share” to the right of your project, or by clicking the Name of your project, or the project picture rather than “Seeing Inside” or other ways. Then your project should open a link saying, “You project isn't shared.” and there is a share button to the upper right in that field.

Dracae, how do you get all these pictures right from the webpage? I've tried many things, but I can't get it. It would help me to help people if I knew how. .3.

On PC's, you can go into Snipping Tool or do fn+Printscreen (I think)
On Macs, you can do Command+Shift+4.

Thank you, I'll try it! but there isn't a FN button… just F1, F2, etc. then Ctrl, Alt, Shift, and Tab.

This button (PrtSc) takes a screenshot of what is currently shown on your computer.
I save this picture (I use Paint.Net), then I go to http://tinypic.com/ where I upload my picture. (Other sites also work)

I copy and paste the Code, and I'm done!

Oh, thanks! I've tried simply pressing the “Print Screen” thingy multiple times, but it doesn't ask me to save, and I can't find it under my pictures… Oh well…

It wouldn't be in your pictures. You would have to copy it into Paint, then save that image.

LoneWolf, just open up a document, and press Ctrl-V to paste the picture.
