An easy way to set up ScratchR (1.4 website) locally
(#58)
apparently can't share projects, going to the share page just gives a 404.
(#6)You can upload projects at Thank you so much for this. I had spent quite a long time trying and failing to get scratchr working on our linux server. I'll use this instead. http://localhost:8888/services/share_project
How do I change the server for scratch to upload to on the client machines? I'm assuming I need to change the code in scratch itself (Shift-Click on the R etc.) but I don't know where to begin looking.

(#63)The “project not found” error was itself a Scratch project in the 1.x days, so the player seems to be working to some extent.Get Java 8 or Flash player.-snip-Can't actually view the project tho
In my experience, uploading a project seemed to take a while; first it didn't appear at all, then it gave a 404, and eventually it loaded properly. Not sure if I did anything different that would have caused it to work.
It's possible that the player still isn't totally working, given that Ruffle still has some missing functionality. If the project still won't load after a while, you should try using Internet Explorer with a real copy of Flash or Java 8.
And do note that there are some quite heavy security concerns with both of those.
