A Project’s Remix Counter - Suggestions

Pros

Can encourage remixing
Make the counter look colorful
A popup asking if you want to remix, to avoid misclicking

Cons:

The orange counter next to the remix counter might confuse New Scratchers

If you cannot see the image (either due to it being blocked or it won’t load) I typed it out here.

Upon hovering over the remix button (near the love and fave buttons) it will turn green/purple.
Clicking it will ask if you want to remix the project as a pop-up. You can click “Remix” or “Nah.”

Once you’ve shared the remixed project, the counter will always stay purple/green!
If you have more than one remix, the button will have an orange circle on it which counts the amount of times you’ve remixed the project.
Once the remix is unshared, the counter will no longer be purple/green as long as ALL of your remixes are unshared. Let’s say you have two remixes and you unshared one, the counter will stay purple/green but the orange circle counter will go down.

Would you only be able to remix if you clicked the spiral though? I think having the remix button there would be easier for new scratchers to find.

And I assume that the “Do you want to remix this project?” pop up would come up when you press the button too?

Yes, in case you misclicked and didn’t want to remix. I can tell because you could’ve tried to click the fave button but misclicked the remix button and didnt want to remix.

That's an interesting idea. Support for encouraging remixes and small QOL change for those who like remixes.

You never explained what the notification thing on the remix is. So I have a few questions:

-Is this number only visible to the owner?
-Is its function to show how many new remixes there have been since you last checked?

They did. The “notification thing” is for how many times you have remixed the project.
