I think custom emojis is a great idea. I support this post. A good idea is that New Scratchers can have emojis but not custom, only Scratchers can use the custom emoji feature. I hope the scratch team adds this!

anyways, this would be very interesting. Many users, and the majority of studios have themes, and custom emojis would be great for that. Honestly I'd just put more food emojis on my profile for food4food xD

Yeah, I already mentioned that. The studio owner or the profile owner must be a Scratcher status

Yes I support. This will make the scratch profiles a lot better and it would add more personalisation to the profiles.

No support. It's just another thing in need of moderation and I think the ST has enough on their hands already.

Semi-support. You see, while it is kinda pointless, and there is a way to send rude comments, what little kid wouldn't want to see their favourite character/OC/PFP/ in a comment?
That was an example. It's not discrimination, just because they had to pick one for an exampleBut he added the no chrome emoji.Where? He just gave an example PLEASE DO NOT DO BROWSER DISCRIMINATION! for this studio

I mean, it would be cool to see your OC in an emoji for everyone to use, but let’s think practically for a second.
First of all, as mentioned, how would this be moderated? Would they have to be approved by the ST for use? Would you just have to report the emojis? Because this just seems like a giant mess to pile on to the already large pile of things to moderate. Plus, this would be the first introduction to actual images on the main site, which is typically easier to moderate on the forums.
Secondly, is this something you would have to upload to an image host, such as CupeUpload? Or is this just any random image that meets the file size requirements. If you can upload any random image, that would be even more moderation for the ST. If it was in CupeUpload or something like that, everybody is going to be making topics or emailing the ST about “why can’t I upload custom emojis?” “PLZ HELP my emojis no work” and more.
Third, here is more safety concern: the custom label that you have to type to write the emoji (e.g. _meow_)? It would be very difficult to find out what that label is, because all comments with the label- the label gets censored into an emoji! So it’s basically a guarantee to hide swear words from teh ST and more inappropriate stuff.
Overall, you can’t expect people to have the common sense and maturity to be able to handle this properly.

actual images on the main site, which is typically easier to moderate on the forums.Ok so first of all it's Scratchers only. Second, PFPs, projects and studio thumbnails already exist and that's a far easier way to post high quality inappropriate emojis than a tiny 64x64 square. Actual images, well, as I said, you forgot studio thumbnails, profile pictures, and projects. First of all, as mentioned, how would this be moderated? No, this is uploaded to the main site on the assets server. We are not trying to kill cubeupload's servers. Secondly, is this something you would have to upload to an image host, such as CupeUpload? There is no label that you can manually type in, as shown on the example images. If there would be a label, it would probably be randomly generated like this: Third, here is more safety concern: the custom label that you have to type to write the emoji (e.g. _meow_)? It would be very difficult to find out what that label is, because all comments with the label- the label gets censored into an emoji! username is ExampleUser - Emoji Label would be _exampleuser1_, _exampleuser2_ and so on
Studio ID is 3014863 (I made that ID up BTW) - Emoji label would be _3014863-1_, _3014863-2_ and so on

Now, I'm going to put a spoiler in here. Trolls.
For one, those trolls could upload insanely inappropriate emojis, forcing the Scratch Team to temporarily disable comments.
For two, it could be #1, but combined with emoji spam
And of course, there should be an alert for spamming the emojis or posting insanely inappropriate emojis. If they continue to they will be banned!
EDIT: New Scratchers or users banned for hate using swearing {EG: (word censored by st, post will be eaten by an evil mango soon)} should be unable to use this.

Requirements:This would stop most of the trolls.
Images should be less than or equal to 64x64px to prevent inappropriate emojis. The studio owner or the profile owner must be a Scratcher status, to further prevent inappropriate emojis (just like the forums)
