Sometimes when you get a profile picture it might not be under 500 pixels or it’s a rectangle and it gets squished when you upload it.
If you have those problems then say hello to the cropinator 9000!

The cropinator 9000 makes your images that are not 500x500 or a rectangle to a beautiful square. It’s basically like uploading a profile picture to YouTube.

Support, it is rather annoying to have to use an external program to cut the image to the perfect size before uploading them. We should be able to crop ot before hand

Support, this would make it much easier to upload profile pictures. Then, you wouldn't have to reduce the size yourself.

Some PFP may look better being a rectangle than a square. i think it should be based off a percentage system or something instead

YES 100% support. I had to manually crop my icon in order to make it possible for me to use it. Many other users don’t have access to editing software or don’t know how to use it, so being able to resize and/or crop your icons right on scratch would be very helpful. It helps me a lot on other sites like Discord (ST don’t alert me for this, I’m just using it as a comparison) since sometimes I might only want part of the image as my icon, like if it’s a picture of one of my OCs but I just want the top of the image (like the character’s face) to be my icon.

Support, the workaround ( using a cropping site ) is super tedious and may give you a virus if you are not careful.

Full support, sometimes the profile I want is less than the requirements and it gets squished when I put it in.

Yes, I have imagined this before. It might be cool to have some presets like “Fill”, “Fit”, “Stretch”, or “Custom”.

but currently the closest we have to 3.0 profiles is a browser extension and the real 3.0 profile design might be entirely different so I just stuck to this
