Technically you don't even need to have used Scratch before in order to join the Scratch Team — we have moderators on the team who joined Scratch at the same time that they joined the Scratch Team.

For the Community Moderator position at least, you will need some sort of online presence. This could be Scratch — but it doesn't have to be Scratch.

Being part of the Scratch Team isn't just a recruitment, it's a full time job, meaning you should have some experience and you need to be at least 18.

Like the others said above, you need to be 18+ and have to be able to work in the US. If you qualify, then you can check out the Jobs page to see what they have available.
