Similar to the emoji bar on iPhones and other devices, this will be under the comment box. Instead of doing _ (insert emoji name here) _ every time, this will make it easier by having a bar to add Scratch Emojis to your comment.

Full support. I use emojis quite often, as regular reactions. I think this would be helpful

No support. Emojis are already extremely easy to know and use. Besides, you can all find them on the Wiki. A bar would just serve as spam to New Scratchers and other people who don’t wish to use emojis for their intended purpose.

i dont think many people know how to do _10mil_

support, emojis can be much easier to use instead of opening the wiki, searching up emoji, and scrolling down unitl you finally see the emoji you want

Frankly, I (think I) have seen a duplicate topic closed for that very reason.

It would make emojis more easy to access, but I do agree with wangat that emojis may should be hidden as it is appealing to the young spammer.

If you don’t mind, could you please remove the support and no support list? It’s unnecessary and might bias people into supporting.

most of them are pretty simple and straightforward though

I think of emojis as being more of a thing to be used in certain circumstances, not often enough to require such a bar. they aren't used in most comments around the site

Maybe instead, it would only show up after you start to type an emoji?

You can still spam without the emoji bar. Someone could copy a lot and keep pasting the text.

Interesting idea, while i do agree with the point @wangat made, i support, as remembering emoji codes can be a nightmare. But i honestly don't think we need every emoji to be here. perhaps just some of the ones used to represent emotions(and some others), like

The rest you would have to memorize. This would kinda cut down the spam and allow easy use of emojis.

Support, this would be good. You could simply click a button to add an emoji, like the forum post menu

I added support and no support lists, so it will make it clear who is supporting the suggestion and who isn't, and because other suggestions have a list like that, so I wanted to have the same thing as them.

Support because then i don't have to remember the codes like i only found out some of the codes last week and i still don't know all of them

so 75% support as it would make it eaiser to use emojis but 15% no support because they are easy to remember once you know them but
