Cleaning Up And Organizing Variable Monitors
It would be very convenient if there was a way to clean up variable monitors just like just like how you can clean up blocks to organize them into a grid.
Mockup:

Clicking on “clean up variables” would result in this:

You can individually already hide/show them in the blocks panel by clicking the checkbox. Unless you're running a project with hundreds of global variables I doubt it's much of an issue.
Also, meta sidetrack, but I don't think any new threads that aren't about studios will be going anywhere productive until forum moderators actually start locking/merging duplicates. It's been two days now and nothing but radio silence.

No offense but that's a horrible reason not to contribute to any discussions.
Yeah, no support. You can individually already hide/show them in the blocks panel by clicking the checkbox. Unless you're running a project with hundreds of global variables I doubt it's much of an issue.

I mean the ability to clean up variable monitors just like just like how you can clean up blocks to organize them. Yeah, no support.

Which is why I contributed to the discussion above before going off into a meta sidetrack marked by me saying “meta sidetrack.”

Oh. Hm. I can see some people using it but the project window is so small that it's not hard to align variable monitors yourself.

It would still be much more convenient if there was a way to automatically organize them. -snip-

also what about lists
also variables and lists change size depending on their length so would it just align all variables vertically?
what would happen if there were too many variables onscreen that it's impossible for 2 not to overlap?

I think it would just work based on how the position is determined when lists/variables are created, going to an essentially random position when there is no more space. (Actually I think the entire cleanup feature should be based on the list/variable creation positioning) what would happen if there were too many variables onscreen that it's impossible for 2 not to overlap?
And besides, I don't think anyone would have that many variables shown at once.
