I support this and i think it is a great idea because I'm trying to get on the front page

I wouldn't say this is necessary, because the message would be drowned out by all the other messages you would receive. If you took the time to read each one and check whether or not it was this message, it would take forever to discover this message, making it useless.

What if it showed up under the “Messages from the Scratch Team” section of your messages? Just like when you get alerts

Somehow I didn't think of that. It would make sense if it used that system.

I can confirm that notifications are currently being given when your project is featured. So far as I know, there is no notification (yet) if your project makes it to “top loved” or “top remixed”. As far as curated - no notification for that either, unless the curator leaves you a comment (which is pretty common practice).

I would imagine since beta Scratch 3.0.

Not sure when it started - but I took a look at a recently featured project and the author got a notification about it.
