Customize the mouse cursor
This may not seem very important to some people, but I think it would be cool if you could customize the mouse cursor to look however you wanted it to instead of just using standard one. I know you can kind of already do this by making a sprite and telling it to forever follow the mouse pointer, but the mouse is still visible over it and sometimes the sprite doesn't follow the mouse perfectly.

Indifferent.Oh, for the love of–
Anyways, I'm on the fence. I mean, it would be a nice touch, and I don't really see any ways it could go wrong, and yes, I thought about the possibility of “malicious” Scratchers making the mouse invisible – oh, how positively unbearable that would be

If I think it's a good idea, but I think Scratch could also do without it; it is not completely necessary but would be nice to have despite possible downsides, then I type “Indifferent” to express this.

Yes, but that doesn't actually contribute anything. Your opinion adds nothing to the discussion of the merits and demerits of a suggestion*.
*“Support” posts are different because they prevent potentially good suggestions from being ignored.

“Indifferent” contributes something. It is to show your opinion.
I take into account my likability of the suggestion as well as how easy it is to implement. If I like it, but I think it might be difficult to implement and that Scratch could do equally as well without it, I type “Indifferent” to express my own opinion.

So your opinion is that you have no interest or opinion in the topic?Yes, but that doesn't actually contribute anything. Your opinion adds nothing to the discussion of the merits and demerits of a suggestion*.

Indifferent for me means that I neither support nor give no support the topic, but I at least care.
“neither good nor bad; mediocre.”

Yeah, sure. Do you have anything to add about the suggestion?

The mouse cursor idea is neat, I would support, but what if the custom mouse cursor was… blank? Or the same color as the background? Or if there's multiple colors, there is a script to change the cursor color to the same color as what it was touching?

I think this would be a great idea, it is definitely possible to temporarily change the mouse in a flash object, (you see those ads all the time
) and even if a project made the mouse invisible, it would be as simple as moving the mouse off the project to re-show it. Definitely support! (Also, this has been proven to work effectively in some Scratch mods like Explore or Insanity)

Not being able to see the mouse cursor is not a significant inconvenience. People can just move the cursor out of the project area, or just wave the mouse randomly if they forgot where they left the cursor. For that, maybe there could be custom one's made by the ST, and there would not be any blank ones. Not being able to see the mouse cursor is not a significant inconvenience. They don't even need to do that. Honestly, I don't really see blank mouse cursors as a problem. There are so many ways to deal with an invisible mouse that there's really no point trying to hide the cursor. For that, maybe there could be custom one's made by the ST, and there would not be any blank ones. Not being able to see the mouse cursor is not a significant inconvenience.
