I'm a big fan of anything by Douglas Adams, like The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy or Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency. They're really hilarious, super well written, and so incredibly British in their humor style it makes me explode with joy every time.

I gotta say, I absolutely love Harry Potter.
Its just something about his character development that gets me, and it might also be how descriptive the writing really was. I actually started making my own wands out of twigs I found in my backyard, sanded them down till they we really smooth, and then painted them with some brown dye to bring out the smaller details.
If I could forget anything, it would be literally ALL of Harry Potter so that I can read the book and watch the movies again. And my favorite book had to be either the 5th or 7th.

Nice, but I'm not a huge fan of Harry Potter. No offense. I like the wand idea though! I'm a lot like you, just with lord of the Rings instead of Harry Potter.

Cool! I started reading the first book a while back (like when I was 7) and got overwhelmed, but I might start reading it again, just need to get through a big list of books to read first

Same. I say I love reading but in reality I only like around 5 book series. I really need to find more books (and actually read them!)
