Stupidly long load times
I've been trying to load a scratch project, and it won't load, NO MATTER HOW LONG I WAIT. It's starting to make me mad and I want it fixed as soon as possible.

I don’t think this is a website issue, but rather a problem with your device.
If you’re on a chromebook, I’m fairly certain that if you’re running a high-data project (SSS, HCotN, etc.) and also have a cluttered cache, try clearing your cache, uninstalling unnecessary browser extensions and applications, and/or restarting your chromebook.
On a mobile device this is inevitable, especially with animations. You can’t fix this, even if you have the newest OS.
If you’re on a windows or Mac computer, though, this is probably super abnormal, so clear your cache and/or get your computer to the geek squad ASAP.
Keep in mind that I’m not a tech professional, and my information may be slightly inaccurate.

What model Linux? Use the globe button to describe your error accurately (reporting to be moved to bugs and glitches) My computer is running Linux, not windows or any others. It was very strange because this is the literal first time
Example:
My browser / operating system: Windows NT 10.0, Chrome 89.0.4389.114, No Flash version detected

In adddition to your OS and browser info, it'd probably also be helpful to know what project you were trying to view. Scratch 3.0 has trouble loading certain projects in some browsers for whatever reason.

Strange that no one mentioned turbowarp which is my go to solution for things like this.

Turbowarp rarely helps with loading projects. It just makes them run faster. Strange that no one mentioned turbowarp which is my go to solution for things like this.

The OP doesn’t link the project or give any information other than “it won’t load no matter how long I wait” so I guess I’ll give mine. As I sit at my kitchen table I often use my iPad to look at projects (while also getting up and doing other things like feeding the dogs) and there have been some projects that don’t get past the ‘herding something’ loading screen even after several minutes. (Is this too much description?). For some reason turbowarp works. Maybe it is some sort of memory management problem when using 3.0 but is just a little under the wire (or different) with turbowarp. I don’t know.
And it is also a little less of a “stupidly long” experience when there is a meaningful progress bar instead of seeing a set of ‘herding something’ messages on the loading screen.

You can try closing tabs and removing unneeded add-ons and extensions. Is your computer laggy just on Scratch or other websites in general?

My computer runs everything else very fast but it's only the scratch website and projects. It even took a while for me to load this.My computer is running Linux, not windows or any others. It was very strange because this is the literal first time

My linux is Fedora 32, latest version.

I tried to load multiple projects that worked fine a week ago. In adddition to your OS and browser info, it'd probably also be helpful to know what project you were trying to view. Scratch 3.0 has trouble loading certain projects in some browsers for whatever reason.
