Making emojis for Scratch is a difficult thing. For example, the
was carefully made so that the face looks like its smiling although that is not the general use emoji!
You can make you own emojis though. Like I did
(although mine looks terrible!)

If this suggestion linked was implemented, maybe you’d agree. It wouldn't fit the forum old 2.0 style so yeaWhy is this? If they update the emojis, they have to update the forums to a 3.0 style too.

Fdreerf you seem to be forgetting that this an actual emoji set, Theyre supposed to be shrunk so they can be used as actual emojis. They'll look fine.I hate this misconception that SVGs will look fine when shrunk. They have to be converted to pixels to fit on your screen, so it will look identical from a PNG unless you zoom in a ridiculous amount. they'll probably just use the SVG icons, which will look fine shrunk.

Just realized this doesn't matter anyways because they offer the emoji in 32x32 iconsThe thing is that those image are huge; when shrunk down to the size of regular forum emojis they'll just look pixelated, except they'll look worse since they weren't designed at the size unlike pixel art. And if they use bilinear or nearest neighbor interpolation to shrink them down, it will look awful…

Random? It's Joypixels! Anyways, I chose these specifically because it fits Scratch 3.0's aesthetic. Also, they're free to use. Well, forum emojis are 15 by 15 so they'll still need to be shrunk, and usually emojis on other sites are meant to be much bigger than that. Pixel art will always trump anything else at this scale.Fdreerf you seem to be forgetting that this an actual emoji set, Theyre supposed to be shrunk so they can be used as actual emojis. would be great if they updated them to better pixelated emojis (example
