Ok, I doubt this will get support, but maybe for members of the scratch Team after scratch team, it can say what they do.
Eg @Za-chary profile will say Scratch Team - Community moderator instead of Scratch team.
This may help so people know what they do and know what questions to ask. (eg ask a community moderator about bans, and a designer about art)
What do you think?

I agree. It may make people post relevant messages to that member due to their job I support, “Scratch Team” is very vague.

Why not remove the Scratch Team part to make it shorter? Or even better - some sort of tooltip that reveals what exactly they are when you hover over the words “Scratch Team”.

Ok, mockup. Now imagine my mouse is hovering over the words “Scratch Team” (because I had to move my mouse for the screenshot).

Yeah, I like the idea of making it a tooltip too. That would remove clutter while still making it available. I wonder if this would be added to the API if implemented?

You're probably right - this might have to be added to the API (which I don't see as a bad thing) I wonder if this would be added to the API if implemented?

I don't support this, for one reason.
I suspect most people don't share their position so that if they're a moderator thy don't get spammed with public reports, but this would make it visible to everybody. I don't like how bad this could make people's profiles, especially famous scratchers like @za-chary or @ceebee. If this was toggle-able, I may support.

Spam on Scratch Team member profiles is already a problem. If anything I think this suggestion will lower spam, as users will at least bother the right person. If Za-Chary is given a title of “Community Moderator” then kids will know not to ask him about “what will be added to Scratch 4.0” or whatever. I don't support this, for one reason.

The spam won't decrease, just be sorted into groups.

I don't see spam increasing that much, if at all. If anything, people would stop spamming on developers' pages (like cheddargirl but her comments are always closed anyways) and only spam on moderators' pages (but I doubt the number would increase). I don't support this, for one reason.

That is quite literally the opposite of what would happen. Let me restate what you just said: “If someone's status is readily displayed for everyone to read, then less people will know what their status is.”but he'll get more spam asking what his position is If Za-Chary is given a title of “Community Moderator” then kids will know not to ask him about “what will be added to Scratch 4.0” or whatever.
if ceebee isn't a community moderator, then all of the people who report on ceebee's profile will go over to his.And that's a bad thing because? “People are posting things in a better place (but still not the right one) to put them. EVERYBODY PANIC!”
The spam won't decrease, just be sorted into groups.Again, how is that a bad thing?
