Wait 24 hours to delete comments without reporting it.

Let me show you a scenario. Remember, Scratch is a bad word in this scenario:

On User A's profile

User A: Link a random profile that no one will find at 5:00 (like1948619 (production of a key-smash))

User B: “Links it”

User A: “Deletes all comments”

On linked random profile:

User A: Let's use a code like a = 1, b = 2, and so on

User B: 19 3 18 1 20 3 8

This can be used to basically private message. But, if User A couldn't delete the comments as fast, someone could report it and the ST could take action. Of course, this wouldn't affect the ST.

Edit: Or, you can report the comment and bypass the limit, but only if it is inappropriate.

In that case, you can report any inappropriate comments instead. When you report a comment that was posted on a profile or project (I don't know for studios because I haven't experienced this myself and the Scratch Wiki does not yet talk about this part of the automatic comment deletion system) that you own, the comments are immediately deleted.

I tend to only delete after making an immediate dumb mistake so this waould be very annoying as I'm highly unlikely to wait so longto delete something unless it's very bad

Audit logs are records of these event logs, typically regarding a sequence of activities or a specific activity. Audit logs don't always operate in the same way.

No support. I see where you're coming from but I don't like the idea of a timeout on deleting comments at all. Sounds like it would be annoying

It would be annoying, espically for people who want to delete spam on their profile and projects. Also if you make a mistake writing, you can copy what you wrote, delete the comment, and paste and fix what ever you want to, then post it again. This would stop people from doing that too.

It would encourage you to take more time in typing your comments and encourage you to be constructive as the Community Guidelines say.

Why not? How would it be annoying? Be more specific and constructive.

Why did you bold a random word? Also, think of pretty much any situation where you'd want to delete a comment within 24 hours?..
