"Sections" on the Profile Page
I'm not sure how to start off this post, but I've had an idea for customising profiles. As far as I know, many profile-customising suggestions have been rejected, but I think this one might be alright to add to Scratch without changing too much and causing any (major) complications.
My idea is another row of projects, beneath “Shared Projects” and above “Favourite Projects”, which users can customise the heading of, similar to the “Featured Project” section. Here's what it could look like:

Before you snap at me that users could write inappropriate names for the section, please note that it could easily be reported much like the rest of user profiles.
I think this would be useful for organising your project page. For instance, you may want to display your best games visibly on your profile, even though most of them were shared a long time ago and require a lot of searching through “Shared Projects” to find. Or, if you are involved in the art side of Scratch (like me), you may want to display the reference sheets of your characters so people can easily find them. Or you might even have a comic/game series you want to display in order.
Of course, adding projects to this section would not remove any projects from the default “Shared Projects” section, as that is meant to display all your projects. Adding projects to the section would be similar to adding projects to a studio, except you can only add your own projects. By default, the second section is hidden until a Scratcher clicks a button on their profile, between the “Shared Projects” and “Favourite Projects” section (they can only see the button on their own profile page), which pops up the new section for them to customise.
The button where you pop-up the section:

The popped-up section:

Your own view of your section Don't hate on me for animation memes lmao

What do you think? Is this too complicated for Scratch? I think it seems quite useful.
Edit: Thanks to The2000 for making Cubeupload links to my mockups!

That's actually not a bad idea. Though before anybody starts getting mad because they could make it say something rude or bad words, I think there could be a thing on the report profile button that has a “Custom Section” option.
I'll make a mockup…

I agree with this… ST! could you add this? I would also like a way to have no single featured project in the middle. that would be nice to have that bar instead of one single project.

Hm, I do think the single Featured Project is useful, though,, Many people do use it. I think it would be strange to just remove it alltogether since it has been a feature for a long time, and is often used. I agree with this… ST! could you add this? I've also seen some Scratchers also use the Featured Project, if not to showcase a project, to display pictures/“aesthetics” by featuring an unshared project that has an animated thumbnail (Check out World_Languages' tutorials on those if you want), so maybe there could be an option to upload a photo there instead of a project? I don't know, that's just an idea.
Edit: Bad idea. There would have to be more unnecessary moderation since Scratchers could upload inappropriate images.
Edit 2: Although, I suppose that's still possible with the methods I mentioned above.

I created some more mockups!

I spent almost an hour on trying to make them look as realistic as possible…

Yeah, but i just meant like an option to turn that off.

Ah, okay. I don't think it's likely ST will add that, though…Yeah, but i just meant like an option to turn that off. -snip-
Also, you didn't have to quote the whole message.

There should be a limit of customized sections to prevent spam.

I was originally intending there to only be one! I agree to this statement, sorry for any confusion. There should be a limit of customized sections to prevent spam.
If more than one, I'd say the maximum would be two sections.

I liked the original idea of just having one section, just like you can only have one featured project. If a user were to have more than one group of projects, then this wouldn't be the best way to do it. Instead, they should be able to assign a “type” to a project (game, animation, tutorial, etc.)I was originally intending there to only be one! I agree to this statement, sorry for any confusion. Overall, I support this idea because it would make an easy way to showcase a specific set of projects.
I have one question: how many projects would a Scratcher be allowed to put on that board? Would it be limited to the five immediate spaces, or could a project have 10-15 where it scrolls? If a Scratcher can put more than 5 projects on the panel, then which ones would show up first? I would guess it would be ranked by how popular or recent a project is.

I agree with that; I think one section would be best for this scenario. More sections would clog up the profile, and like you said, a “type” would be better suited to organising more projects. 1. I think the board should hold either up to 20 projects (the maximum amount that can be scrolled on a profile row) or an unlimited amount, like shared/favourite projects. It depends on what people would use it for. If someone used it to showcase their “Best Games,” they wouldn't need that many slots. But for showcasing an ongoing comic series… hm… to be fair, I think a comic series would be better suited for a studio, and only display the most recent instalments on the custom board. I think the first option (20 projects) would be best-suited to most scenarios in which the board would be used.
2. I think it would be better to organise them by how recent the project is, since Shared Projects and Favourite Projects are already sorted like that. (Most recent first. For the favourites, it's the project you most recently favourited first.)

These are like playlists in YouTube channels! It would be good for organizing your projects. How about do something similar in the my stuff page?

Yup! That's where I got the idea from! But, unlike playlists, which play the videos one after another, these would just be like a miniature Scratch studio, but as another row/section on your profile! These are like playlists in YouTube channels!
Oo, I didn't think of that!! I'm pretty sure that would require a new suggestion, though, since the My Stuff page is different to the profile page. If you wanna make a suggestion for that, go ahead! I'm already envisioning the mockups I can create… How about do something similar in the my stuff page?
