Search Option!
Hi, I would like to propose a search option in the blocks list.
So, how this would work, is:
near the top of the blocks list, would be a search bar. If you type in, for example, “when green flag clicked”, the block would show up in a list below. If there are more than one block matching that description, then all blocks matching the key words would show up. I'm proposing this idea because I have often found that it's difficult to search for blocks that I don't often use, like the “if on edge bounce” block or the “mouse x” and “mouse y” blocks. Sometimes, if you're not used to using the block, and you don't know where it is, it can be difficult to find, and I think a search bar in the blocks section would be very helpful.
Tell me what you think!

Support! Like google docs and google slides have their own search feature on the blocks would be useful. Note if you say a easy way to do it is ctrl+shift+g whenever you press the down arrow on another tab for blocks it does not go to it. And in docs and slides ctrl+f goes to where the word is even if its on the second page while you're on the first page.

Big support! I wanted to find this block for ages
But could not remember what category it was in.
1 question though, would it come up with extensions?
Eg if I searched ‘pen’
wait until <>

Support, this could be really helpful. It’s similar to introducing a search bar to an online shop. Instead of scrolling for hours, trying to find something, you could just find it with a click of a few buttons. Yes, I know all online shops have that now, I’m just making a point. This could be even more important if more blocks are implemented in 4.0, because not having it would make things even more confusing.

Thanks everyone, for your support. @Vaibhs11 asked why- It should explain clearly in the post I made above. I hate being called lazy, so next time you have something like that to say, just keep it to yourself, mmkay? Thanks! Have a great day.

that's not true, they are sorted in groups of 14 which is why? so much and is so hard to find blocks in them (there are 102 blocks in total excluding variables and custom blocks but since they're sorted the way they are it's pretty easy to find stuff)

Yes! It would. I rarely use pen, but yes, it would also include extensions. Thank you for your support, and have an amazing day!

If you searched for the pen, the block(s) would show up, and if you tried to use them before loading the pen into your project, it would ask you if you wanted to do so. If not, you would be unable to use the pen.

Yes! Thanks. I admit, I'm not very familiar with the pen option, I don't use it often… (I used it once. Because my teacher told me to.) And thanks for your support!

Partial support. Sometimes it is annoying to find blocks but it's not that hard.

Yes, I agree. The main reason is for new users. It can be hard to find blocks if you're new to Scratch, or if there are some blocks that you don't use often.
