Hey, I have a question. If there's a topic in the “thing's I'm reading and playing” discussions about the same series, albeit the forum has long since become inactive (aka no one's posting anymore), is it allowed to remake this topic? Thank you!

Why you shouldn't create duplicates
It's easier to have the discussion in one place
It clutters up the forums with many duplicate discussions that could be easily merged into one.
It makes the moderator's job harder. Imagine having to close lots of threads about the same thing, that would be quite annoying!
How to avoid posting a duplicate
Use a custom search engine. I recommend this, this, or this
Check the Things I'm Reading and Playing directory. It can be found here
Read this handy guide by Wahsp.
What to do when you see a duplicate
Comment a link to the post that was duplicated. (ex: This topic is a duplicate!)
Report it. The moderators have a greater chance of seeing the duplicate if you report it, and the topic can be closed.
