Scratch Studios should have writable roles
Think about this, there are only two classifications in a studio, Owner and Manager. Now, if we had writable roles for our members, we could make all kinds of things. For example, if you have a pet studio, you could make a role like “Cat Lovers” or “Dog Lovers”. This would add many more kinds of creativity. In my studio, I make OS's with friends and it would help me if I could make a role like “Founder” or “Insider”. This would also help other people too.

…..Are you going to do that too?
I can see this becoming too confusing for Scratchers to use, even if it doesn't seem like it, just like re-adding the echo effect. In this context, I believe users would have a hard time grasping this new height of complexity in studios. Plus, if you add too many roles, you've got spam.
It's also very ambiguous how this would work. Could there still be curators and managers? What privileges do the roles give the curators/managers? These are things you must clarify.

I don't think they want to customize what different ranks can do- they just want to change the names of ranks. So you're saying Customized Privileges?
The question is, how useful would this actually be?

I want to expand on this.
Just because they haven't implemented it yet, that doesn't mean that they hate it. But they don't like it because of PMing and unmoderated chat, correct. I, however, don't see why Discord having writable roles (which writable roles, what the suggestion is about, has nothing to do with PMing not chatting) means that Scratch can't.

I semi-support, but I think you need to go more in-depth.
As SSB20 said, how would these roles work? Would you be able to set which ones have curator permissions, and which ones have manager permissions? Would you be able to personalize each role's abilities? (I would like this feature a lot, but it could get confusing.)
I think this would be very helpful for big studios that do have “ranks”.

What if they give a role the person doesn't really like .It can cause fights too.
Example: Person A is given the role ‘Co-editor’ but person B is given ‘Editor’. Person A would feel quite bad that they weren't given the role ‘Editor’ and could possibly start arguing with person B, even though it isn't even their fault.

That can happen with our current system, too. What if they give a role the person doesn't really like .It can cause fights too.

It could be used for other purposes than social media. No support, scratch isn't a social media.
Say someone's making a collaboration project with a lot of other people, and makes a studio for it. There could be a “Programmer” rank, an “Aesthetic-Maker” rank, an “Advertiser” rank, and much more so people (and the owner) easily know what job everyone has.

Yes, but this is more triggering since they are roles and just not manager and curator. This suggests to have actual names, unlike the current system. That can happen with our current system, too. What if they give a role the person doesn't really like .It can cause fights too.

Yes everything can be used to argue with anyone, but it doesn't mean you can add anything since the current system can cause those conflicts too.
