There are site blockers, safesearch, and if children are young enough to be offended by this phrase they won't be likley to have accounts on sites that allow bad words. For example, I don't want my brother to ask me what this means and have to tell him because I wouldn't say the word myself. Anyhow, would you consider an acronym for another very-bad-word not directly saying it? No support, sorry. As said above the “a-word” isn't actually a swear word, plus you're not directly saying it. It's hard enough to express yourself with all the limitations of Scratch, and if these kids are on the internet, which they would have to be to access Scratch, they'd most definitely run into this acronym elsewhere.
? Uh, I'm /not/ talking about a “very-bad-word,” I'm talking about something that isn't even a swear. I didn't ask for an argument, I said I didn't support the idea, as I personally see no problem with it.

while you might not see it as bad, enough people are taught that it is a swear word for it to be blacklisted. There are site blockers, safesearch, and if children are young enough to be offended by this phrase they won't be likley to have accounts on sites that allow bad words. The a word is also the name of a donkey. While the A word in this context isn't a swear word, the majority of children are taught that it is, so on Scratch it isn't allowed. No support, sorry. Well it is in the same classification as horses and donkeys, but used in that context isn't bad, only when refering to the one we are talking aboutThe a word is also the name of a donkey. While the A word in this context isn't a swear word, the majority of children are taught that it is, so on Scratch it isn't allowed. My brother was reading a book and it had the word jacka** in it. Just because a swear word has another innocent meaning doesn't mean you should say it.

I feel as though this is necessary to point out:
Not all the Scratch Team agrees that it should be rejected. Heck, @Za-Chary* didn't add that frequently mentioned one because he thinks it should have been implemented! Neither do I agree that it should be rejected (although I'm not Scratch Team).
However, we must respect the final decision they have made. They have a higher role. Evidently, we must respect their decision. However, if they say it in a way that breaks the Respectful Rule, that is reportable.
Plus, it has been said multiple times in questions that it is not REJECTED, however, it is discouraged from use.
