Easier Custom Thumbnails
It is about the content, but I never look at a project unless it has a cool thumbnail. Without one, the content doesn't even have a chance.Yeah, but this would make it much easier for new users to fake their project. You can do that with the current system. People could upload fake thumbnails to made their project look really cool when in reality it's something that was put together in a minute and is not very good.
Only semi-support.
Besides, it's not about the thumbnail, it's about the content.
You are correct that the amount of fake thumbnails would go up. But the pros still ought weigh the cons by a million (in my opinion).
Me too - most of the time

I support! I just really hate making a new sprite for a thumbnail because the project autosaves! Then I have to do something to make it suggest saving again. I then have to manually press the save now button myself. I just never make a thumbnail for a project for the reason that it is annoying and most certainly tedious. Yes, people could make irrelevant thumbnails (A picture of a Pikachu holding a ketchup bottle when the project is just a blank template with a Scratch Cat in the middle that does nothing), but a person could already do this currently with this system, just a tad bit slower (or a lot slower depending on all sorts of technical stuff). That is really the only con that has been mentioned. I'll list out all the pros and cons I can think of.
Pros
Pros
- Easier way to find out how to make thumbnails!
- Possibly easier to make a thumbnail
- A lot less tedious
- Irrelevant thumbnails
- Commonly used thumbnails

Not necessary imo, just use this in your thumbnail block.
(edit: ) Also, not necessary =/= no support, I'm neutral on this one as I don't see it as too big of a problem.
when green flag clickedAnd when you start, it disappears but when the stop sign is pressed it shows, making easy thumbnail saving.
set [ghost v] effect to (100)
