Add the Ability to Drag and Drop Image and Audio files into the Editor
Instead of having to click the ‘Upload Costume“ or ”Upload Audio" button, I suggest we have the option to drag and drop the files from the download bar at the bottom of most browsers.*
The costume/audio would be uploaded into the currently selected sprite, or backdrop if you selected the backdrop.
this would make a ton of peoples workflow a lot quicker.
i couldn’t find a duplicate for this (which is very surprising)
*you can also drag and drop files from your computers file app, that was an example and its the most commonly used version of this feature on many websites.

YOU HAVE TO DOWNLOAD THE IMAGES FOR YOU TO UPLOAD THEM. THIS WAY JUST ALLOWS YOU TO UPLOAD THEM WITHOUT PRSSSING THE UPLOAD COSTUME BUTTON AND INSTEAD DRAGGING THE FILE TO THE EDITOR. YOU CAN'T JUST GET AN IMAGE FROM GOOGLE AND UPLOAD IT WITHOUT DOWNLOADING.

Correct me if I'm wrong – this sounds like the feature on many Google services (such as Google Drive and Google Classroom) that let you upload a file by dragging it onto the screen.

Yep, along with many other websites that let you upload images (cubeupload for example) Correct me if I'm wrong – this sounds like the feature on many Google services (such as Google Drive and Google Classroom) that let you upload a file by dragging it onto the screen.

Support. Music files take up quite a bit of room on a computer, but with this feature, you wouldn't have to download anything at all.

that's not how browsers work, you can only upload files from your downloads BAR using drag and rop. Support. Music files take up quite a bit of room on a computer, but with this feature, you wouldn't have to download anything at all.

I'm quite sure for things like images on Chromebooks, you can hold the mouse down, and move it to where you want, taking the image along with it.that's not how browsers work, you can only upload files from your downloads BAR using drag and rop.
