what will be their source?
Google will be the source. Scratch already uses Google for the Translate extension, so why not weather. It will get the info from the weather popup if you search “weather”

Yeah, that would be better Support! Would look cool and would expand the limits. But as @-Rex- said, I think it would work better as coordinates. Or instead of one big dropdown, maybe a search bar for the town.

Where will the weather readings come from?

Support as an extension, why not. I do think the location input would work better as coordinates.
We already have Amazon-powered text-to-speech and Google-powered translation.
Now that I think about it…that would be better.

OMG! I can't believe @-Rex- posted here! If @-Rex- is reading this part, PTE was amazing!

Google actually gets its weather data from The Weather Channel, which gets its weather from IBM. But I think there should be a watches and warning block like this: (idk how to change block color)what will be their source?

(current warnings in [New York])Then you could know if there is a tornado or a severe thunderstorm coming your way. Also, there should pressure, temperature and humidity reporter blocks.

Probably like “Tornado Warning, Severe Thunderstorm Warning, Flash Flood Watch, Wind Advisory” if there were several alerts so you can sort them out.But how would that read. That could be useful. Also, if you want to change the color of a block, put :: then the name of the category. Make sure you type it inside the block not outside.

I'm Not Sure There is A Weather Sensing Block
See If There Is One In Turbowarp
this is a suggestion, meaning the block has not been implemented yet into scratch.
anyways, i feel like supporting but i'm leaning towards no support here because what uses could this block have other than minor changes and weather in scratch OSes (also, nobody uses scratch OSes because to run scratch you need an OS).
and, here's some block ideas
hex: 7C8AEB
(current [temperature v] :: #7C8AEB)
(current [temperature v] at (0)°N (0)°E :: #7C8AEB)
(current [temperature v] at (Atlantic Ocean v) (Null Island v) (- v) :: #7C8AEB)
(current weather :: #7C8AEB) // this can return "rainy", "cloudy", "sunny", "partly cloudy", anything like that
(current weather at (0)°N (0)°E :: #7C8AEB)
(current weather at (Atlantic Ocean v) (Null Island v) (- v) :: #7C8AEB)

I really don't see how this would be useful. What kind of project would need to know what the weather's like?

Weather can vary between areas of a country so finer detail would be needed (I don't know how this would work without a crazily long dropdown):
Eureka! Longitude and latitude blocks.
current weather in [Central England v] :: extension reporter
Eureka! Longitude and latitude blocks.
longitude :: extension reporter
latitude :: extension reporter
current weather at longitude (longitude :: extension) latitude (latitude :: extension) :: extension reporter

No support, it will be hard to detect even with bots. However it a possible to workaround with cloud variables, however it is too complicated
