Ever since Scratch 3.0 came, there was no video import feature. Although, yes, Scratch 2.0 use SFW files for purposes such as videos, Scratch 3.0 now uses HTML5 and would be great to have video import with formats such as MP4, WEBM, and more.

Just to be clear, you want to import video into Scratch, not export videos of Scratch projects?

@fdreerf Yes.

First, videos are heavy. It's not like you can put 1 minute, low resolution, low framerate video into Scratch projects. It's too big.
Second, there is no methods to splice video to images on the browser (that I'm aware of). Those online converters that you see on the web don't convert
on your computer, instead the servers do that.

I mean yeah, that would be useful, and it certainly wouldn't cause lag because you can import gifs, I think there is a work-around though, just use a converter, Giphy is a good one i think
