So sometimes people make stuff like contests, and they get top remixed. But a bunch of people close them first! Now, I have no chance to enter. So I thought perhaps you could check a little box that says “don't front page” and then now it won't get front paged.
Pros:
-Closed contests would be off the front page therefore saving room for other projects
-You will click on less things thinking you are gonna enter but they are already closed
-Draws less attention to people who don't want spam remixes (or don't like the attention of being front-paged)
Cons:
-I can't think of any. Tell me if you can think of one. Feel free to add pros to!
What do you think?
NOTE: It will still show up in search results so it's not marking NFE

This suggestion is similar to one about marking your own projects as NFE. NFE means Not For Everyone and these projects are those that talk about how to ‘hack’ scratch, or they have a FNAF theme, or they have an animated thumbnail. This status means that the projects are not the type of projects encouraged on scratch but they still follow the community guidelines.

I don't know…. this would give it a banner in the corner automatically (perhaps), and it could still show up in search results. It is not for stuff like FNAF or animated thumbnails or hacking. It is for contests or people who don't want attention. So I don't know if it is a duplicate or not.

I have added (for projects) to the title since some people might have thought I meant something in the forums.

You are getting 2 more each time because each time you come and post, you are fetching this page twice. The two views are yourself wow, so many people are viewing this topic! I am getting 2 more each time I come back! Please tell me what you think pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease
I like the suggestion to prevent a project of yours from being front-paged.
If a “Don't put this on the front page” checkbox is added, I might just use it on some projects.

I agree that this would be a nice suggestion to implement, it's just that I don't really think that people would want to stop themselves from getting to the front page. That's because, who would want to lose a chance to get famous? So, socially speaking, this wouldn't actually work. But if it does somehow work, I support 200 out of 10 (in other words, 2000 percent).

I was thinking perhaps if you do a contest and you want to leave it up to keep the milestone but you don't want people randomly remixing it ‘cause it’s on the front page. And some already famous scratchers may just be doing a random art test with their friend and want to share it with them but they don't want like 300 random scratchers loving it because it is in top-remixed.
idk what else to say
