Make an official statement about mass/false reporting
You've all probably seen at least one project, studio, or topic on the issue of
“Mass Reporting”, or “False Reporting”
Appreciate the fact that I put it in quotes
And from what I can tell, it is widely misunderstood, and is overall a confusing situation. Many Scratchers are protesting against this, and it's getting worse every day. It's becoming more and more controversial, it's kind of ironic it's become an issue during the covid-19 pandemic.(It's controversial as well)
Similar to how the ST made a statement when it came to advertisements & F4F, I suggest that the ST make an announcements topic on this. It should help clear confusion regarding this matter, and hopefully calm people down.
Please do not gossip about user on this thread, or really, anywhere. it just makes the situation worse.
Remember: If you are going to post, please be constructive and add to the discussion.

Support.
Personally I have not seen or been victim to any mass reporting (nor have I done it) and I usually ignore forum threads that issue it because I don't really feel that it is applicable to me.
While I did start to read them at first, I found that they were quite similar to each other, and I really didn't bother to call out the duplicates, because they were so hard to read and not interesting.
And for the few people that do get mass reported, they can always contact the ST using the contact us button

Support. There are too many questions about false reporting in QAS forums, and it's annoying to go through them all. I think a couple people misunderstood false reporting, it spread and here we are with a bunch of “STOP FALSE REPORTING!!!!” topics.

I made a studio about it myself, and many other Scratchers are protesting against the thing, but I think the mass reporters are only getting happier because people are getting mad (which is of course what those sadists want). If the Scratch Team makes an official announcement about it, most of them (not all) would probably retreat.
Now, additionally, I also think there are more people emphasizing on stopping false reporting than people that actually false report. It's getting kinda out of hand - and like @Za-Chary, a lot of the “false reports” were probably honest ones. Just like how the initial days of coronavirus were - too much drama
I'm supporting 50% because of people actually getting false reported, and 50% to really just stop the giant drama on the matter. I'm not even seeing much projects getting false reported lol

Could you please elaborate on if you're trying to straight-up insult us (will report), point something out (please do, I make a lot of mistakes), or indirectly compliment us (tysm! <3)?

Excuse me, but, what are you trying to say?
You've posted three times. In the first one, you said

I am saying that false reporting needs to stop.
None of them were honest.
@GoldenEagleStudios' QNA was marked NFE for no reason.
Also if you are here why do you have #StopFalseReporting in the signature?
(why did i ask that)

Do you even understand the suggestion?
It's that the Scratch Team needs to make a rule about false reporting officially - announce it to Scratch. Of course I'm involved in the debate.

I'm not sure what confusion needs to be cleared? It is obviously not okay to report something that doesn't go against the Community Guidelines. We make that pretty clear when you go to report something. You've all probably seen at least one project, studio, or topic on the issue of

Make an official statement about mass/false reporting
I have some idea:
Hi everyone!
As you may already know, there are so many new projects and comments that Scratch Team cannot review all of them. This is why reporting exists - if you found something that looks inappropriate or against the Community Guidelines, you can report it. We have seen many questions about reporting recently, so we made this post to answer most of them.
What happens if a project is reported?
The Scratch Team manually reviews the projects, and if the project had something inappropriate, we remove or unshare it, and notify the creator.
Do the project creators know who reported the project?
We do not tell them who reported the project. We recommend you not to say you reported something to avoid unnecessary drama and arguments.
How can I report a project?
All projects have “report” button (usually below the notes and credits). Click the button, and choose why you are reporting the project. Then, press Next, and write some details, such as the name of inappropriate costumes or sounds. You can click “Send” button to send the report.
If you choose “Other” or “Too Violent or Scary”, you have to choose subcategory. For example, if you think the project has a jumpscare, choose “Too Violent or Scary” , click Next, choose “Jumpscare”, click Next, and write why you think it is a jumpscare.
I found “I don't like this project” in the report reason - is this a valid reason?
No. The “Other” section has some subcategories that are not valid as a report reason. If someone chooses such reason, they will be asked to send constructive comments to the creator, and the report is not sent to the server.
I'm not sure if the project is inappropriate for Scratch. What should I do?
If you are not sure, please report the project so that we can check the project. We do not remove or unshare projects that are not inappropriate.
Someone used my avatar without my permission. Can I report them?
Anyone can use things shared on this website, including avatars. However, they need to give credits to the creator. If they did not give credits, you can report them.
I heard that projects can get unshared automatically. Is that true?
Yes. If a project receives a lot of reports in a short amount of time, the projects can get unshared automatically. It is very effective for projects that are inappropriate for Scratch, but we understand that some good projects get unshared because of this. All projects that get unshared automatically will be reviewed manually within a few days, and if we cannot find things that are inappropriate, we will re-share them.

Make an official statement about mass/false reporting
The issue is that people are misunderstanding things with mass reporting. Some think that it's the ST that falsely removes projects, and others think that the mass reporting issue is caused by a bunch of 9 year-olds that think it's funny to falsely report projects. And then there is many others that want the automatic project-remover to be removed. What needs to be explained is that projects are removed automatically, and they need to be removed automatically because if the project is inappropriate, it needs to be removed ASAP. Another thing that needs to be addressed is that most reports are not actually troll reports, but are valid reports. We need to remind Scratchers that people do have different viewpoints, and there are things some may find inappropriate that others don't. I'm not sure how many reports it takes for a project to be taken down, but I can't imagine it being many, so something else that should be added on is that “mass reporting” really isn't “mass”. If a project gets taken down automatically after let's say 3 reports, it's not actually some “big issue”. The last thing that needs to be specified is that all project reports will be viewed within a few days by a ST member. If there really is nothing wrong with it, it will be reshared.I'm not sure what confusion needs to be cleared? It is obviously not okay to report something that doesn't go against the Community Guidelines. We make that pretty clear when you go to report something. So basically:
1.)Explain that the automatic project-remover is important.
2.)Explain that most reports are not troll reports and are “valid” or “legitimate” reports.
3.)Remind others that some people may find something inappropriate that others may not.
4?)It doesn't take many reports for a project to be taken down, so this isn't actually a “big issue”.
5.)A Scratch Team member will review the reports within a few days. If nothing is “wrong” with the project, it will be reshared.

Well I agree that it should stop but how often does it actually happen?
And are they always jealous? Or do they just want to be mean?
