This is why you should back up your games to a USB, no need to worry about scratched discs. If you have one with enough storage (keep in mind, disc games are about 4 gigabytes a pop), which really isn't that expensive, you'll be fine. - snip -
i smashed my copy of wii fit plus i got at goodwill because “THE GAME DISC COULD NOT BE READ. PLEASE REFER TO THE WII OPERATIONS MANUAL.” so i'm stuck with wii fit

I'm pretty sure it's actually legal in the US to store backups as long as you're not distributing them. That's why emulators are able to operate in a legal grey area.“You Wouldn't Steal a Car” ahh commentThis is why you should back up your games to a USB, no need to worry about scratched discs. If you had bought the game I think it's legal to have it backed up. Backing up games you didn't own is piracy and legal action could be taken against it. “You Wouldn't Steal a Car” ahh comment

By the way, why did people hate Larsen V? I get the fact that bad moderation and that one security risk contributed to it, but no one shows that hate on Disconnect24.Yeah, honestly, Larsen gets way too much hate from the Wii Community. I feel bad for him. Especially cause he made RiiConnect24. When people hate him for past drama, it makes people ungrateful. Like, MOVE ON or something instead of clinging onto the past. Honestly, the Wii Community is TOXIC just a note, I've been in some of the communities and they are terrible. I've witnessed drama in there, and it's awful honestly.

Ah yes Dōbutsu no Mori e+ Can someone tell me if you can play a patched game on Nintendont without ripping the ISO? To play a patch, I would rather just boot from a disc with the patch on an SD card set to load.
The patch in question is an English translation of Animal Crossing e+.

Do you think I should make a Wii U thread in the advanced topics?

For Homebrew specifically, yes. I came here because there was no Wii U thread. Do you think I should make a Wii U thread in the advanced topics?
