Elaborated "Community Guidelines" or something regarding Advertisements, F4F, etc...
So with recent groups emerging regarding advertisements, it has come to my attention that the site's rules regarding advertising is not clear. While the studio and projects emerged from a group of famous Scratchers that were voicing their opinions regarding advertisements, it quickly turned into a dramatic flamewar on whether advertising is okay or not. I have seen multiple users that disagree with them saying how "advertising on profiles and projects is okay“, and how ”there's nothing wrong with advertising on the projects on Explore". I know that this isn't true… Scratch doesn't allow users to advertise in such places- that's why Show and Tell exists! While I understand that advertising wouldn't become a Community Guideline, as it is allowed in Show and Tell, I think that we need to make these kinds of things more clear. We need to have a page that touches on where you can and can't advertise, and can touch on other things, such as F4F, and how it is okay, but also how you need to understand that not all users do it, and you need to respect that. There are some things in the community that either are not clear, or are something that is extremely controversial. I think adding a place that can adress these things will significantly benefit the community.
To summarize, we need to make sure that things that are only allowed in certain places, like advertising and more “controversial” topics, such as that of F4F, are more clear. I suggest we need another page similar to that of the Community Guidelines that explains such things.
I think this would be highly beneficial to the site, as there are some things in the community that either are not clear, or are something that is extremely controversial. I think adding a place that can adress these things will significantly benefit the community.

Support. The number of people who know that advertising is banned will hopefully increase.

This would put many of our minds to rest. It's tough to say our point but its mentally exhausting. Clarification would help the community in a good way. It would also stop the hate we get and flamewars.

Support!
I heard people saying F4F is not allowed and you should report and shout at anyone who does it.
And on griffpatch's profile people were advertising, i told them to not advertise please, and they said ‘ADVERTISING IS ALLOWED!!’ and stuff. Plus, another thing, once someone makes an account they should be redirected to the Community Guidelines, so they know not to advertise where it isn't wanted.

This is a rather vague area that really needs to be filled in, and I really like the idea. No support.
The Community Guidelines is not a rule book, it's an etiquette manual.
As @LegoManiac04 mentioned, I think we should create a separate page for this kind of stuff, instead of the appending it to the Community Guidelines.

So something less vague than the community guidelines, but shorter than the Terms of Use? This is a rather vague area that really needs to be filled in, and I really like the idea. No support.

Maybe it could also include something about copyright and horror/violence, and some specific rules of thumb (“no content scarier than Luigi's mansion is allowed”).

Right, and there are some stuff in the This is a rather vague area that really needs to be filled in, and I really like the idea. No support.Community Guidelines that, in a way, already cover stuff on F4F and advertising:

- Be respectful. In particular, don't shout at people who ask to do F4F.
- Be constructive. In particular, don't advertise a project in the comments of another project.
- Be honest. Come on, man, don't say “Don't click this” and then post a link to your project. We both know you're advertising.

I think the only place where people can advertise is FPC, it's the best place to tell people to do it right?

I understand that you agree with the ideas of the AAA, but this Suggestion isn't for debating on whether advertising is okay or not.

Please state SUPPORTwhy you support. Simply saying “support” isn't constructive and doesn't add anything to the conversation.

Well, yes. Unless allowed by the user, advertising isn't allowed, but since the FPC studios do basically allow ads, yes, it is fine. I think the only place where people can advertise is FPC, it's the best place to tell people to do it right?

Wow, thanks! ^^ I'll discuss this with the Scratch Team later today to see if it's a good idea.
