well i cant really get any mods, and what if some people are mobile? sgd also would be way easier to make a collab with because we could just remix eachothers projects.

are mods needed to make a gd level..? and yeah what if people are on mobile, doesn't change anything. I don't really want to make a collab in sgd because a. I'm not used to it and b. it seems pointless when you have the actual game, with more features and less lag. sorry if this came off as rude as smth I didn't mean it that way

I can't download geode for some reason, whenever I run the installer and try to open the game it immediately crashes before even loading. I'm on macos if someone can help

Even without geode, build helper and copy with colors still exists in the base game and you can still reserve certain color and object groups for each person if that didn't exist either. (these features are present in both the steam and mobile versions)

Try going into the geode folder and deleting all mods and reinstalling the ones you need later.
(fyi steam page settings button -> manage -> browse local files -> right click the geometry dash app and show package contents -> contents -> geode -> mods)

Iirc in 2.1 you would need mods to make a gd collab but not anymore in 2.2 i think.

I'm at contents but where is geode? I installed it and I don't see anything that says geode

i mean just to build a level you dont need mods but for colabs you need a mod for that (also geode is available for android)

you don’t need geode to collab, just upload your level unlisted and provide the id
