"Other [Things on Scratch]/General/More [Topics]" Forum but still ABOUT SCRATCH
NOTE: This is NOT, I repeat NOT suggesting adding back the miscellaneous forum. That was a forum for things not related to Scratch.
What I'm suggesting is threads about Scratch things that don't fit in any particular forum. I often see competition discussion threads, vote threads, bug trackers, etc., floating around in the Show and Tell and the Collaboration forum. These aren't usually show-and-tell type things that are in Show and Tell forums. So, what do I suggest?
An “Other” forum! It still should only allow topics related to Scratch, but they don't relate to any particular forum. Things like suggestions, questions about Scratch, you know, anything that has a forum to belong in should be moved to that forum. But the Other forum would allow for things such as leader votes in competions, applications for some project, pieces of writing as a competition entry for a contest on Scratch, stuff like that. But just as long as it's related to Scratch.
Get it? Good! I'm not saying this is a necessity, but it would be nice to have. After all, there's lots more to discuss about Scratch than what's listed.
Also, I just did a quick poll of the first page (yes, just one page and the results are already prominent, I've seen worse though) and these were my results:
About 55.56% of posts fit Show and Tell (barely half)!
About 11.11% were unrelated to Scratch or should have been moved.
And a whopping 33.33% were in none of the above categories and would fit other! That means for every three posts, one would fit other.

That would lead people to believe it has the same purpose of the rejected & removed forum. Maybe it could be called Miscellaneous

Sorry, but this has been rejected:
8.4 Off-topic or miscellaneous section on the forumsSo this will not be added.
This forum would have been used for posting about anything that was not necessarily related to Scratch. There actually used to be a forum topic like this, but it was difficult to moderate, and so it was shut down and replaced by the “Things I'm Making and Creating” and the “Things I'm Reading and Playing” forums (which do not completely allow off-topic posts).

What I think OP is stating is adding a new form of things related to Scratch. Sorry, but this has been rejected:8.4 Off-topic or miscellaneous section on the forumsSo this will not be added.

@Elephant_Lover, do you know what kind of things you think would be posted in this forum? I feel as if we have enough, but I'd like to hear from you before I say my position on this.

- Contest entries (especially in writing, for example in Scratch Writing Camp)
- Bug trackers
- Voting (like for who should be leader in a contest)
- “About Me” or “What I'm Working On” extensions
- Save code topics (for people who don't like their comments to be cluttered with save codes)
- Tutorials for how to code something (unlike in Help with Scripts, nobody would have to ask)

Thanks, I've bolded what I think would benefit from this forum. I believe that an “other” forum would be great for users who like to post tutorials, I also see a ton of save codes, so I like that as well. With that being said, Support. Here: -snip-

I think contest entries would be fun to have on Scratch, especially when it's run on a large scale for teenagers to show off programming or art skills of some sort. Thanks, I've bolded what I think would benefit from this forum. Though, I think the Scratch Team kinda runs that “contest” for front page stuffs…

Support. There's be more than one occasion of me or someone else posting in the wrong forum because there was no other forum to put it in.
If someone determines that their particular thread wouldn't fit in any of the other forums, this “Other” forum would be a pretty organized collector of otherwise off topic threads. It would help a lot.
