Costume/Sound editor update

I have 2 ideas for the costume and sound editor.
So when you try to drag an image or sound into the editors it just redirects the browser to that audio file or image file
What would be cool if it would import it quickly from another tab or a file on your PC without having to download the file and then click the upload button
Another related suggestion, the allow copying and pasting in and out of scratch so if you want to copy a image from the internet and then paste it into the costume editor or copy from Scratch into Paint or the internet

In my opinion, the second feature would be really helpful, especially when working on a huge project. If you don't want to download images for whatever reason onto your device, that feature would be nice to have.

EDIT: Now that I reread the first part, I agree that it would be useful as well. Not having to download both images and sound effects (bigger projects could possibly require a TON of different sound effects, taking up a lot of memory on the device) could be helpful and a great quality-of-life feature.

Additionally, people who cannot download images/sound effects/music onto their device (for example, if they share their device or don't want to accidently download a virus or other things related to it) would find this feature pretty useful.

Both are good ideas. The first one exists with *forbidden word* so it shouldn't be too hard for the ST to implement.

I couldn’t really see myself using the first feature, however I’m sure some people could make use of it. The second feature would be very helpful since this would make importing webp. files into scratch or something like that a lot easier since whenever I download a webp. image file I always have to manually convert it to a png and it takes a stupid amount of time.

Support!

implementing quick hack features into a browser extension is very different from implementing reliable and tested features nicely into a website.

I can drag in assets from another tab and it's much quicker, but scratch doesn't have an official way. But I remember years ago it would be such a hassle for me to download everything I wanted, import it all 1 by 1, then delete it from my computer.
