Warn users when they've exceeded an asset size/JSON file size limit
In what case would you not want to be alerted to this? This should be optional.
If the warning was designed well this wouldn't be a problem in the first place. I would rather make the whole project in one go and then slowly cut down the project size than to be constantly pinged about how everything is above the limit.
…But he's not spamming… Also, I need to address this and I don't want to cause any fight, but it is still something that needs to be addressed. Spamming means repeating the same message which you did. Just stop it, it is just rude and pretty disrespectful. Just spamming won't help anyone at all and is really unprofessional.

Definitely an area that needs improvement.

Fun fact: Scratch's current server issues may require you to bump a topic twice to actually get it up onto the first page. It's not my fault that there are server issues necessitating this, and that I can't delete the redundant bumps without reporting them and waiting several hours for an ST member to do it. Also, I need to address this and I don't want to cause any fight, but it is still something that needs to be addressed. Spamming means repeating the same message which you did. edit: removed redundant line break

Support. Although I don't think I'll need this. But I think there is much more needed to improve associated with this feature.

This topic is now on page 3 and hasn't had any activity for 2 days. I don't think bumping it here counts as spamming.

Absolutely support.
Also, please please increase the file size limit on the .json file. I know people say you only exceed this limit when abusing lists, but I'm just working on a big game with a bunch of engines that require a bunch of list items. It's a huge bummer to work on something for so long and then have this restriction that I never knew about not let you continue.
If there's another thread about this, please lead me to it but for now, I'm just hoping scratch team reads it here.
It would mean the world to me and a bunch of other scratchers. Also, if there's ways to compress/lower the file size of the .json file, please let me know

Support, I don't really make projects (or huge projects) on Scratch, but in a situation I did make a huge project, having a warning like this would be incredibly helpful.

ST: please add this, it is one of the most important changes that Scratch really needs. If you don't believe me, go look at the Bugs and Glitches subforum and see how many of the topics there are “project won't save”.

This is arguably one of the most important suggestions on the entire site right now - why isn't this implemented?
If you don't believe me, go to Questions about Scratch or Bugs and Glitches and see how long you can browse before you find a topic about a save issue. You probably won't be able to go 10 minutes - it's that bad.

This is the THIRD TIME that I've had to bump the topic because it simply refuses to go up. This is INEXCUSABLE and needs to be fixed.

Just quickly pointing something out - if you give out reasons and can convey your opinion in a good way, it's called being constructive. The user you just warned is being unconstructive - I just told you this so you could use the right words in the future. :)
