The only use I can find is
making some funny or whatever
for now use this

play sound [original sound v]
wait (1) secs
play sound [copied and quieter sound v] until done

it increases the project size tho and increases the chance of crashing while loading

Glad they still kept the Robot effect.

So some people did use it, but the reason why it was removed is because the Scratch Team wanted to revamp the Sound editor, but since doing that meant they had to keep many of the previous features, they had to decide and get rid of the Echo effect.

I just found this conversation and i had realized, i had more ideas as well with echo, being: pitches separate from speed,

set pitch to ( )
change pitch by ( )
set speed to ( )
change speed by ( )

Support. This could be used to add more atmosphere to a project's sounds. IDK what else but it could be very useful.

1. Use that one browser extension that WE WILL NOT MENTION HERE IN THIS WEBSITE.
2. Go back to the 3.0 beta, import that sound, add the echo effect and export it to your computer.
3. Use Scratch Mods such as TurboWarp.

Bad workarounds:
* many people are on mobile or a school chromebook
* 3.0 beta is over, and github.io is blocked by most schools
* you need to enable an addon, also what if it's blocked
